The Internal Affairs / Professional Standards Division is responsible for maintaining the integrity, professionalism, and accountability of the Slidell Police Department. This division conducts fair, thorough, and impartial investigations into allegations of misconduct, policy violations, and ethical concerns involving department personnel. In addition to investigating complaints, the division works proactively to identify trends, ensure compliance with department policies, and promote best practices in policing. Through transparency, objectivity, and adherence to due process, the Internal Affairs Division reinforces public trust while supporting the department’s commitment to high ethical standards and professional service.
